A tab manager for people with too many tabs

Tab Manager gives you one tidy list of every tab in every window, with the tools to clean them up in seconds. Find the tab you lost, close the ten copies of the same page, gather everything into one window, and save the whole set for later.

See and search everything

The All Tabs view lists every open tab with its site icon and title, along with quick counts, including how many duplicates you have. Type in the search box to find a tab by title or address. From each row you can switch to the tab, mute or unmute it, pin or unpin it, duplicate it, move it to a new window or close it.

Clean up in one click

  • Close duplicates: keeps one copy of each page and closes the rest.
  • Sort by domain or by title.
  • Group by domain: puts tabs from the same site into Chrome tab groups.
  • Merge windows: gathers tabs from all your windows into one.
  • Close tabs to the right or close other tabs, leaving pinned tabs alone.

Work with tab groups

The Groups view shows your Chrome tab groups with their colours and tabs. Collapse or expand all groups at once, ungroup everything, or manage each group on its own.

Save and restore sessions

Save the tabs you have open as a named session, such as Client X redesign or Monday research. Close them with peace of mind, then restore all of them in one click when you come back to the task. Delete sessions you no longer need.

Who uses it

  • Developers juggling docs, issues, staging and production tabs.
  • Researchers and students with dozens of sources open at once.
  • Agencies switching between clients through the day.

Fewer open tabs also means less memory used and a faster browser.

Tip: Save a session before closing a big research task. Restoring it later brings every tab back at once.
