A link extractor that takes the rest of the page too
Link & Content Extractor, called Extractor in the DevToolkit popup, is a free link extractor that also takes everything else you might need off a page. Choose what you want, press Extract from this page, and the result is listed with a count, ready to copy or save as a file.
It reads the page you are on and nothing else. There is no setup, no account, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Seven things it can take
- Text: the main content of the page as clean, readable text. Menus, headers, footers and cookie banners are left out, and paragraphs and headings keep their line breaks.
- Links: every link with its address, its anchor text, whether it is internal or external, and whether it is marked nofollow. Show all links, only internal or only external ones, and keep each address once.
- Images: the address, alt text and real size of every image. Set a smallest size of 50, 100 or 200 pixels to skip icons and tracking pixels.
- Headings: the page outline, H1 to H6, indented by level and with each heading’s id. Show all levels or just H1, H2 or H3.
- Tables: every table on the page with its caption, header row and cells.
- Meta: the title, description, canonical, robots, Open Graph and Twitter card tags, viewport, language, alternate language links and more, with the ones that are missing marked as not set.
- Custom selector: type any CSS selector, such as
.product-titleorh2 a, and take the text, the href, the src or all attributes of whatever it matches.
Copy it or save it
Copy puts the result on your clipboard in the most useful shape: one link or image address per line, headings with their level, and tables as tab-separated rows that paste straight into the cells of a spreadsheet. Each row also has its own copy button. To keep the result, save it as JSON, CSV or plain text. Files are named after the type and the site, such as dtk-links-example.com.csv.
What people use it for
- SEO checks: list every outbound link and see which ones are nofollow, check the heading outline, or confirm a page’s meta and social tags.
- Content work: take an article’s text without the clutter, or a list of image addresses and alt texts for an audit.
- Research: save a comparison table or a resource list as a CSV file in seconds.
- Development: test a CSS selector and see exactly what it matches.
Extractor or Web Scraper?
The link extractor takes one kind of thing off the page you are on, which covers most quick jobs. When you need repeating items such as products or search results turned into rows, or data from several pages at once, use the Web Scraper in DevToolkit Pro.
Tip: Choose Links, turn on Unique URLs only and pick External to get a clean list of every site a page links to.

Link & Content Extractor questions
Is the link extractor free?
Yes. Link & Content Extractor is part of DevToolkit's free plan, with no limits. The Web Scraper, for lists and several pages at once, comes with DevToolkit Pro, a one-time payment from $25.
Does it include email links?
No. Mailto and JavaScript links are left out of the link list. To collect email addresses from a page, use Email Finder in DevToolkit Pro.
Can I get the tables into Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copy the tables and paste them into a spreadsheet, and each cell lands in its own cell. You can also save them as a CSV file and open that.
Why is some text missing?
The Text option keeps the main content and leaves out menus, headers, footers and cookie banners on purpose. To take a specific part of the page, use a custom selector instead.
Does it work on pages that need a login?
Yes. It reads the page as it is shown in your browser, so anything you can see after logging in can be extracted. Nothing is sent to our servers.
